The Designs
The brief was to design a front cover for the annual Visit Ely tourist guide that goes out to venues and tourist offices nationwide. The client had seen my eel illustrations and wanted a representation of the eels alongside the cathedral. I chose to use a cross-section view including the river’s depths, showing the life beyond the surface, as well as the glory of the cathedral on a sunny spring day.
